Asset
management is paramount to the success of any commercial
real estate project at RRC we are aware of that crucial
aspect. RRC
is always looking for ways to develop tools, which
will maximize NOI and retain tenant base, post 9/11we
developed a tool known as the Bleed Board™. This tool
was utilized to identify which assets were portfolio
killers. During weekly meetings, the asset management
team in coordination with the leasing team, and the
maintenance team developed an asset management-repositioning
plan in order to turn the project around. The year
end result was 97% occupancy rate beating the market
rate of 89%. Visionary thinking is what sets RRC asset
management apart from the competition. Asset management
is easy during the good times but the numbers during
the bad times are the true rating of asset management.
This enables RRC to pull from past experiences and
put them to work on troubled assets and redevelopment
projects.
